I live with the river and its watershed and become accustomed to it. The exotic newness becomes the familiar. But when I return after traveling I can see it again with new eyes and realize once again how beautiful and special it is. And how different it is from rivers in other parts of the country and of the world. I hope these these photos will give you some intuitive understanding of this little corner of the world.
