Going out to Lee Point, near Darwin, to watch the sun go down across the Timor Sea is sort of a local tradition.

This conservation area is also a great place to come birdwatching in the mornings. We can't decide whether the orange-footed scrub fowl, the rainbow bee-eater, the red-tailed black cockatoo, or the forest kingisher was our favorite among the many species we saw.
